As My Imagination Runs..

As I drive on my way to work now, it was still dark because I left the house so early for my 7 a.m. shift. I normally have my so-called national anthem CD in my car which I haven’t changed for more than a month now. I love listening to it and I normally think anything to relate with every songs played. Today, I decided to play a different CD given by my friend Mon. Track 2 was titled “Stuck In A Moment” by U2. I right away liked the beginning instrumental so I got interested to listen to the lyrics and then now it was my only song played again and again until when I was on my way home.

It was a perfect music to listen to when you feel like thinking. It is best while you are driving alone or walking in the street going nowhere while cars are just passing by. It’s like looking what’s around you and thinking about other people lives. I imagine too a special someone singing this for me and playing the guitar as well in a bar but I was on the other scene working late because I was broken hearted with someone else and keeping myself busy to get over with the hurt I am feeling. I was working wearing a mask of happiness but deep inside I was just holding back my tears. The guy playing the guitar in a bar is hurt too that I am stuck in a moment for someone else while he’s stuck in a moment with me. The singer should be wearing grunge look, a typical band look but still so attractive.

Then the guy will call me at work as I start to burst in tears when I heard his voice. Suddenly the next scene will be when I went out from work. I will see him in the other end of the street with his foot on the wall as he waits for me. Then the world will stop a bit and I will just stare on the other end as he cross the street which there will be only few cars passing by because it’s already past midnight. He will stand in front of me as we stare at each other (I know you are expecting us to kiss but we will not) and then he will bring me into his arms holding my head as I cry. Then we will walk and I will still be in his arms. It’s dark but we will be walking in the street with lights in the trees around (Christmas lights). We didn’t kissed because this guy knows that he is just a friend and I was stuck in a moment with another person despite of the unconditional love he has for me. By the way, I wasn’t aware that this friend has feeling for me in this story okay?

Awwwww! I am just imagining real someone special. Then of course we forgot that we both have cars and got carried away with the moment that we walked instead. This someone will remain in my dreams and in my song. Sometimes, it’s nicer to love someone from a far as you daydream that he was yours. Hayyyyy...I wonder what he could have been doing now?
